Inspiring Journey: There are moments in life when it feels like dreams may never come true. Responsibilities of marriage, children, and household duties often push education to the backseat. However, the story of Priti Sharma from Uttar Pradesh challenges this notion entirely. Born in Saharanpur and later settling in Delhi after marriage, Priti achieved what many deem impossible. Her in-laws reside in Barwala village, Baghpat district. At the time of her marriage, she held only a bachelor's degree, but post-marriage, she not only completed her master's degree but also pursued an ETT course. Her husband played a pivotal role throughout this journey, encouraging her at every step.


Support from Her Husband Changed Everything

In an interview with a popular educational YouTube channel, Priti shared how her husband stood by her side, constantly affirming her capabilities. This unwavering belief became her greatest strength. After marriage, while raising two daughters and managing household responsibilities, her connection with education nearly faded. However, her husband's support reignited her determination.


Resuming Studies After Nine Years

In 2019, when the KVS and CTET exams were announced, Priti decided to resume her studies after a nine-year hiatus. Although she had attempted to fill out forms previously, circumstances had prevented her from reaching the exam stage. This time, her husband arranged coaching, and her sister-in-law and in-laws assisted with household chores, allowing her the time needed for preparation.


Nighttime Study Became the Key to Success

Priti explains that due to her job at a private school and household duties during the day, she opted to study at night. She would sit down with her books around 10 or 10:30 PM and study until morning. Often, she managed only two to three hours of sleep, but she never let her routine slip.


Achieving Sixth Rank Nationwide

Her hard work paid off as Priti scored 155 out of 180 in the KVS exam, securing the sixth rank in the country. During her preparation, she created notes from YouTube videos, utilized color pen techniques, and practiced mock interviews to overcome her nervousness. Despite facing criticism, she persevered and has now become an inspiration for countless women.
