A Story of Resilience and Determination


New Delhi: The tale of Anseera Anchi from Kerala exemplifies the challenging paths where circumstances repeatedly test human courage. After marrying at the age of 18, her education was interrupted, and she faced numerous restrictions in life. The very education she viewed as a pathway to progress became a source of struggle for her. She endured domestic violence, had her phone destroyed, and her books burned. Nevertheless, the hope for a better future for her children fueled her determination to move forward.


In an interview, Anseera shared her journey from struggle to success, which she also recounted in a post on her official Instagram account. She revealed that in 2011, at the age of 18, she enrolled in a government college, but soon after, marriage changed the course of her life.


Education Became a Struggle After Marriage

As time passed in her in-laws' home, the situation for Anseera grew increasingly difficult. Discussing her education led to violence against her. She recounted how her books were burned, and she faced physical abuse, even being denied food at times. Despite securing a job, she was threatened with being confined to the house. Eventually, after the violence escalated, she returned to her parents with her children, deciding to rebuild her life.


The Future of Her Children Inspired Her to Stand Strong

With two children to care for, Anseera felt a heavy responsibility for their needs. She realized that to provide them with a better life, she needed to become financially independent. During this time, a relative began preparing for the PSC exams, which inspired her to pursue her studies. An old teacher also encouraged her to rise above financial worries and focus on her goals.


Balancing Motherhood and Education

At around 25 years old, Anseera managed to attend coaching classes while caring for her young children. After fulfilling her daily responsibilities, she dedicated her nights to studying. She shared that she often read quietly until midnight after her children fell asleep, sometimes pretending to be asleep just to find time to study. Despite the challenges, she prepared for every exam.


Achieving Her Dream Among 500,000 Candidates

Anseera revealed that she took an exam with approximately 500,000 candidates. At that time, she had completed her 12th grade, while many around her held degrees in MBA and engineering. After giving birth three times, passing the physical exam was a significant challenge, but she overcame it. After completing her exams and training, she became a police officer.
