Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Mandal posts must be HSLC Examination or its Equivalent Examination Passed and must have 6 months Recorders Class Course Certificate from the Assam Survey and Settlement Training Centre.

Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2015.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed for the SC, St Candidates as per existing Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2200/- Per Month.

Application Fee: A treasury challan Rs.30.00 (Rupees Thirty) only and Rs. 15.00 (Rupees Fifteen) only in case of ST(H) candidates as application fee payable under the Head of Account “0070” OAS (Examination fees etc.)

Nagaon is a city and a municipal board in Nagaon district in the Indian state of Assam. It is situated 120 kilometers (75 mi) east of Guwahati. It has a population of 147,231. In education section, total literates in Nagaon city are 98,068 of which 52,690 are males while 45,378 are females. Average literacy rate of Nagaon city is 93.43 percent of which male and female literacy was 98.58 and 88.08 percent. College (named after Anandaram Dhekial Phukan), Khagorijan College (named after the old administrative headquarters of Nowgong District), Nowgong Girls’ College, Nowgong Law College, and Nagaon G.N.D.G. Commerce College. The College of Fisheries, the only college of its kind in northeastern India, is located in Raha and comes under the academic management of Assam Agricultural University in Jorhat.
