The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially announced the results for the third semester of Class 12, revealing a commendable pass rate of 93.72%. This marks an improvement over last year's pass percentage of 90.79%. The results were made public during a press conference on October 31, 2025, and students can access their scores starting at 2 p.m. on the official website result.wb.gov.in by entering their roll number and login credentials.


The third semester exams took place from September 8 to September 22, 2025, with a total of 660,260 students registered, out of which 645,832 participated. The WBCHSE has also set the dates for the upcoming Semester 4 exams, scheduled for February 12 to 27, 2026.


Passing Criteria Explained


To successfully pass, students are required to achieve a minimum of 30% in each subject, equating to at least 30 out of 100 marks. The results provide detailed information, including students' names, roll numbers, subject-wise scores, grades, overall percentages, and their qualifying status.
