The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the results for class 10th students. To check their results, students are advised to visit the official websites of the West Bengal Board: wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. They will need to use their date of birth and roll number as their login credentials.

This year, the pass percentage for WB Madhyamik students is 86.15 percent. A total of 118 candidates have secured positions in the top 10 ranks, with Devadutta Majhi topping the WB Board results by scoring 697 marks. The board will soon announce the dates for re-evaluation and supplementary examinations. WB students are encouraged to stay updated by regularly checking the official websites of the Madhyamik WB board.

According to the notification from WBBSE, approximately 6,98,628 candidates appeared for the Madhyamik Class 10 state board exam in 2023. It's worth noting that there has been a significant 36.41 percent decrease in the number of WB Board candidates compared to the previous year. In 2022, 10,98,775 candidates had taken the Class 10th Board exam.

Step 1: Open your preferred web browser and go to the official website wbresults.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the link labeled "West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2023 WB Board."
Step 3: You will be directed to the result page after clicking the link.
Step 4: Fill in the required information, including your Roll number and Date of Birth, in the designated fields.
Step 5: After providing the necessary details, click on the "Submit" button.
Step 6: The WB Madhyamik Result 2023 will be promptly displayed on your screen.
Step 7: For future reference, you can choose to either print a hard copy of the result or take a screenshot.

In 2022, the pass percentage for the Madhyamik exams, also known as the WBBSE 10th board exams, was 86.60 percent. This marked a decline from 2021 when 100 percent of students cleared the exam. In 2020, the pass percentage was recorded as 86.34 percent, while it was higher at 88.87 percent in 2019.
