Students across Uttar Pradesh are eagerly awaiting their results for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations conducted in 2026. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has confirmed that the results will be announced in the last week of April. This announcement brings relief to students who diligently prepared for their exams held in February and March. The Board has efficiently completed the evaluation process, and the final results are now being compiled.


Evaluation Process Details

The evaluation of answer sheets for the UP Board was finalized on April 4, 2026. This process took place from March 18 to April 4, spanning 15 working days. The evaluation deadline was extended due to holidays for Eid and Ram Navami, moving it from April 1 to April 4.


Volume of Evaluated Answer Sheets

Around 2.75 crore (27.5 million) answer sheets were assessed for nearly 50 lakh (5 million) students who took the Class 10 and Class 12 exams. A total of 153,000 examiners were involved in this extensive evaluation, which was conducted under CCTV surveillance. To ensure security, armed police were present at all evaluation centers, with a total of 254 centers established for this purpose.


Examination Participation Statistics

The UP Board examinations took place from February 18 to March 12, 2026. In the Class 10 category, approximately 2,761,696 students registered, with around 2.6 million actually participating. For Class 12, 2,576,082 students registered, and about 2.45 million appeared for the exams. Overall, 5,337,778 candidates registered, with 287,000 absent. The exams were conducted at 8,033 centers statewide.


Timeline for Result Preparation

With the evaluation now complete, the tabulation and processing of results are underway. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh indicated that it will take approximately 20 to 25 days to finalize the results. Last year, results were announced on April 25, just 23 days post-evaluation. The Board aims to maintain this schedule. Once available, students can check and download their scorecards from the official website, with updates provided regularly. Over 5 million students are hopeful for favorable results, which will assist them in planning their future studies and career paths.
