Overview of UP Board Examinations
The Uttar Pradesh Board, recognized as the largest educational board in India, has seen 5.2 million students participate in this year's examinations. The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP), conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams from February 18 to March 12, 2026, with the evaluation of answer sheets starting on March 18.
The board has set a deadline of April 1 for completing the evaluation of answer sheets for both classes, with only a few days remaining.

Students often feel anxious as they await their results after the exams. The UP Board has announced that the evaluation will conclude by April 1, and results will be released within 20 days. Based on last year's timeline, results were announced on April 20, so a similar date is anticipated for this year’s UP Board 10th and 12th results.

Along with the results, the UP Board will publish a list of the top-performing students. Additional information, such as the overall pass percentage and performance metrics for male and female students, will also be provided.

Last Year's Student Performance
In the previous year, 2,545,815 students took the UP Board Class 10 exams, with 2,294,122 passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 90.11%. Among boys, 1,327,024 appeared, with 1,149,884 passing, yielding a pass percentage of 88.66%. For girls, 1,218,791 participated, and 1,144,138 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 93.87%. Notably, girls outperformed boys by 7.21%.
