Copy-Checking Process:
The evaluation of answer sheets is set to begin on March 18, 2026. Approximately 30 million answer sheets from both Class 10 and Class 12 will be assessed. The evaluation is anticipated to conclude by the end of March or the first week of April. While manual checking will continue as in previous years, select schools and examination centers will have a digital upload facility for online marks submission.
Strict Regulations: If any cash is found within an answer sheet, severe disciplinary measures will be enforced against both the student and the invigilator. The examination for that student will be declared null and void, and disciplinary actions will be initiated, with the confiscated money deposited into the government treasury. Additionally, OMR sheets will now have pre-printed roll numbers and subjects to minimize clerical errors.

To combat counterfeiting and fraud, the UP Board has fortified the 2026 mark sheets with 16 security features. These include barcodes, holograms, special security codes, and color-coded pages, with the first and last pages printed in distinct colors. The mark sheets will also display the UP Board logo and various anti-tampering marks. Furthermore, the layout has been improved for better organization and readability, aimed at preventing malpractice and ensuring the authenticity of the documents.
