UP Board 10th, 12th result 2023: Know expected date, pass rate over the years

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP) is set to release the results for the Class 10 and 12 board exams held from February 16 to March 4, 2023, in Uttar Pradesh. The results for the intermediate and high school board exams are expected to be announced on or before April 27 and can be checked at the board's official website, upmsp.edu.in. To pass the UP board exams, students must receive a minimum score of 33 per cent, and those who fail one or more subjects must take compartment exams. Over the years, the pass percentages for both classes have consistently exceeded the 85 per cent threshold, with girls outperforming boys in 2022, and Gautam Budha Nagar topping the districts in terms of pass percentage.
In 2022, 22,37,578 candidates appeared for the intermediate examination, with 19,90,249 of them passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 85.33. This was a slight decrease from the pass percentage of 97.88 in 2021, yet higher than pre-pandemic years. Similarly, the pass rate for Class 12 board exams in 2022 was 85.33 per cent, with girls outperforming boys yet again. The evaluation process was concluded on March 31, with 1,43,933 expert examiners assessing the 3.19 crore answer papers of around 1.86 crore and 1.33 crore students in classes 10 and 12, respectively.
This year, more than 58 lakh students registered for the High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) board exams collectively, with 31,16,487 and 27,69,258 students enrolled for the Class 10 and 12 exams, respectively. For more upcoming board exam result 2023 dates, click here.
