The application period for the UGC NET June 2026 examination has officially closed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the correction window today, which will be accessible until 11:50 PM tomorrow, May 28. Candidates who have made mistakes in their application forms can amend these details online during this timeframe.
**Correction Fields Available**
Candidates can modify several details in their NTA UGC NET application, including Date of Birth, Category, Mother's Name, Father's Name, and Examination City selection. However, please be aware that changes cannot be made to the candidate's Name, Gender, Photograph, Signature, Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent or Correspondence Address, or Exam City.
**Self-Correction Process**
All applicants are encouraged to make corrections to their UGC NET forms independently from home. Below are the steps to facilitate this process:
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- On the homepage, locate and click on the 'Correction Window' link in the 'Latest News' section.
- Log in using the required details.
- Select the fields that need correction and input the correct information.
- Submit the form once all corrections are made.

**Exam Schedule**
The NTA is set to conduct the UGC NET June session examination from June 22 to June 30, 2026. This examination will be administered in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, consisting of two papers. Paper 1 will feature 50 questions worth a total of 100 marks, while Paper 2 will include 100 questions, carrying a maximum of 200 marks. Candidates will have a total of 3 hours to complete both papers.
