TN HSC 12th Results 2024 Out Now: Pass Percentage 94.56%, 100% Result in Over 2400 Schools

The Directorate of Government Exams Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has announced the results for the Class 12 board exams 2024 today, May 6. This year's results showcase an overall pass percentage of 94.56%, a slight increase from the previous year, indicating the successful performance of students who appeared for the exams.

• Exam Dates: Class 12 board exams were conducted from March 1 to March 22, 2024.
• Overall Pass Percentage: The overall pass percentage for Class 12 students is 94.56%, with 7,19,196 out of 7,60,606 applicants passing the HSC + 2 exam.
• Gender Disparity: Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 96.44% compared to boys' pass rate of 92.37%.
• Best Performing District: Kanyakumari emerged as the best-performing district with a pass rate of 95.72%.
• Stream-wise Pass Percentage:
  • Science: 96.35%
  • Commerce: 92.46%
  • Arts: 85.67%

  • Candidates can check and download their scorecards from the official websites of TNDGE at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in by entering their Roll Number and Date of Birth (D.O.B).
  • Results can also be checked via SMS service or DigiLocker.

• Re-evaluation Process: Candidates unsatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets once the final results are declared on dge.tn.gov.in.
• Comparison with Previous Year: In 2023, the Class 12 results were declared on May 8, with an overall passing percentage of 94.03%.
