Telangana SSC Examination Schedule

Hyderabad: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in Telangana are scheduled to begin on March 14, 2026. In preparation for the exams, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) in Telangana has released sample Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets to assist students in understanding the exam format better. The TS Class 10 exams will take place from March 14 to April 16, conducted in pen-and-paper mode from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Understanding OMR Sheets

The provided OMR sheet samples will familiarize students with the actual format used in the examination. OMR sheets are specially designed forms that contain bubbles or boxes for multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which can be quickly and accurately evaluated by computers.

Instructions for Filling OMR Sheets

To correctly fill out the OMR sheet, students must shade the circles corresponding to their chosen answers using a blue or black ballpoint pen. It is essential to completely fill the selected circle without marking it with a tick, cross, or partial shading. Personal details such as roll number, booklet code, or subject code should be written in the designated boxes, and candidates should avoid making extra marks, scratches, or folds on the sheet, as it will be scanned for accurate evaluation.

Admit Cards Issued

The admit cards for the examination have already been released on the official website bse.telangana.gov.in and dispatched to the respective schools via speed post. Students can also receive their hall tickets through WhatsApp by sending a message with 'Hi' followed by 'SSC Hall Ticket March-2026' to 8096958096.

Importance of Carrying Hall Tickets

Students must bring their hall tickets to the examination center; otherwise, they will not be permitted to take the exam. The admit card contains crucial information such as the student's name, roll number, class, photo, signature, exam date, board name, exam time, and guidelines for the exam day.

The examinations will cover all subjects except the first language (comprehensive curriculum) and science. A total of 5,28,239 students are expected to participate across 2,676 centers statewide.
