SSC Board Result 2023 Goa Declared: 96.6 Pass Percentage Check Goa 10th Result at gbshse.in
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the results for the SSC or Class 10 exams today. To check the Goa board SSC result, students can visit results.gbshsegoa.net or gbshse.in and enter their seat number, school index number, and date of birth. This year, the pass percentage in the Goa board SSC result is 96.6 percent, which is an improvement compared to last year's 92.7 percent. The pass percentage has increased by 3.9 percentage points since 2022. Among the students, 96.3 percent of boys and 96.9 percent of girls have passed the exams. A total of 20,476 students registered for the Goa SSC exam, with 10,074 girls and 10,402 boys. The result was announced during a press conference held at the Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Directorate of Education, Porvorim, Goa.
The Goa SSC board exam for 2023 was conducted in two terms. The first term took place from November 10 to 29, 2022, while the second term was held from April 1 to 24, 2023, at 31 examination centers. Starting from 9 am on May 22, the consolidated result sheets will be available for download through the school login. Candidates can collect their mark sheets from one of the four designated centers, namely Mapusa, Bicholim, Margao, or Ponda.
In order to pass the Goa SSC exams, students must achieve a minimum of 35 percent of the total marks, as set by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Those who fail to meet this requirement will not be considered qualified and will need to appear for compartment exams.
Last year, the pass percentage for girls was 93.9 percent, while for boys, it was 91.6 percent. Additionally, 50 percent of SSC students obtained scores ranging from 60 percent to 80 percent in the Goa Class 10 exams.
