The Board of Secondary Education, located in Ajmer, is anticipated to unveil the results for both grades by March 25, 2026. With the new academic session commencing on April 1st, there is a possibility that the results may be announced even sooner.

Accessing the Results

The results will be available online through the ShalaDarpan portal. Once the results are published, a direct link will be activated on the official website of ShalaDarpan, allowing students to check their results by entering their login credentials.

How to Check Your Results

To view the Rajasthan 5th and 8th results for 2026, follow these steps:

1. Visit the ShalaDarpan portal at rajshaladarpan.nic.in.

2. On the homepage, select the link corresponding to your class.

3. Enter your roll number along with your district or your roll number and date of birth.

4. Your results will be displayed on the screen, and you can download a copy of your marksheet.

Changes in Promotion Policy

This year, the Board of Secondary Education has decided to discontinue automatic promotion for students in grades 5 and 8. As a result, students may fail in these grades. However, those who do not pass will have an opportunity to retake the exams.

Special examinations for students who fail will be conducted within 45 days after the results are announced, allowing them a chance to salvage their academic year.
