Odisha 10th Result 2023 Declared, 96.4% Students Pass HSC Exam, Girls Perform Better

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has officially declared the results for the class 10 examinations of 2023 today, May 18, at 10 AM.
 
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has officially declared the results for the class 10 examinations of 2023 today, May 18, at 10 AM. Pramila Malik, the education minister of Odisha, made the announcement regarding the BSE Odisha class 10th or HSC exam results. This year, an impressive 96.4 percent of students have successfully cleared the Odisha 10th Board exams. The total number of students who appeared for the HSC board exams this year was 5,85,730. Notably, the girls have outperformed the boys, with a pass percentage of 97.05 percent as opposed to 95.75 percent among the boys. Furthermore, an astounding 3,222 schools have achieved a 100 percent pass percentage.  To access their Class 10 matric results, candidates can visit the official websites: bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in, and orissaresults.nic.in. Additionally, students can also check the Odisha Madhyama result 2023 through alternative methods such as SMS and DigiLocker.  The Odisha board conducted the Class 10 exams from March 10 to March 17, 2023. In order to pass the examination, candidates must secure a minimum of 30 percent marks in all subjects. Those who obtain less than 30 percent will be considered unsuccessful, according to the BSE Odisha result 2022.  In the case of candidates who fail to meet the passing criteria, they will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams. The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, will allow students who have failed in one or two subjects to take the supplementary exams. Students dissatisfied with their obtained marks can also apply for re-evaluation, with the application window opening after the result declaration.  It is worth mentioning that in 2022, the overall pass percentage stood at 90.55 percent, whereas in 2021, a remarkable 97.89 percent of students successfully passed, marking the highest pass percentage recorded by the board. The pass percentages for the years 2020 and 2019 were 78.76 percent and 70.78 percent, respectively.
