The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the results for the Class 10 (Secondary) examinations conducted in April-May 2026. Students who took part in the exams can now access their results and download their marksheets from the NIOS official website at results.nios.ac.in. The online marksheet will provide detailed subject-wise scores. According to the data shared by NIOS, a total of 115,414 students registered for the Class 10 exams, with 102,558 actually appearing for the tests. The overall pass rate recorded is 66.92%, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 64.93% and boys at 66.16%.


Steps to Check Your Result

Follow these steps to view your results:


1. Visit the official NIOS website at results.nios.ac.in.


2. Click on the link for ‘Secondary (Class 10) April-May 2026 Exam Results’.


3. Enter your enrollment number in the provided login field.


4. Hit the submit button to view your results on the screen.

Re-evaluation Process Available Until June 29

Students who are not satisfied with their scores have the option to apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. As per NIOS guidelines, applications for re-evaluation can be submitted online through the student portal within 15 days following the announcement of results. The last date to apply is June 29, 2026. This facility allows students to request a reassessment of their answer sheets. It is crucial to submit applications on time, as late submissions will not be accepted.


How to Apply for Re-evaluation

To apply for re-evaluation, follow these steps:


1. Log in using your enrollment number and password on the NIOS portal.


2. Navigate to the 'Examination Services' section.


3. Select the re-evaluation option and choose the subjects you wish to have reassessed.


4. Pay the required fee online and submit your application.


5. After submission, download and keep a copy of the acknowledgment receipt.
