Additional Information

Students who passed either exam 1 or exam 2 and wished to improve their results were eligible to apply for the 2nd PUC exam 3. The state board had discontinued supply exams, allowing students three chances to take the final exams instead. Previously, only the marks from the supplementary exam were considered final. The new remedial system introduced in 2022-23 allows students to retain their best scores from the three exams. This 'student-friendly mechanism' saw 1.19 lakh students registering, with 41,961 passing.
