Jamia Millia Islamia Declares Entrance Test Results for 17 UG, PG Courses
The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has released the results of the entrance tests for 17 programs for the session 2023-24. The list of provisionally selected candidates can be found on the JMI Examinations' website: www.jmicoe.in. The admission process for these programs will commence on July 10, 2023, and conclude on July 14, 2023. The programs include:

M11 - MA Public Administration
M12 - MA Sociology
A09 - Advanced Diploma in Counseling Psychology
B13 - Bachelor in Library Science
B10 - BFA Painting
B12 - BFA Art Education
B11 - BFA Sculpture
B09 - BFA Applied Arts
G09 - PG Diploma in Still Photography
G10 - PG Diploma in Acting
M20 - MA Mass Communication
M21 - MA Convergent Journalism
M22 - MA Development Communication
M23 - MA Visual Effects
D01 - Diploma in Engineering
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the JMI Examinations' website for updates, as results for other programs will be announced in the coming days. It is important for provisionally selected candidates to complete the admission process within the specified period mentioned in the admission notice. Failure to do so will result in their disqualification, and no requests regarding this matter will be entertained.
In the meantime, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has also invited applications for distance and online mode admissions at the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the academic session 2023-24. The CDOE, JMI, offers 12 online programs, including B.A. (General), B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MA in Urdu, History, Education, English, Hindi, Sociology, Political Science, and Public Administration. Additionally, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Jamia Millia Islamia is providing courses in Drone Manufacturing and Assembling Assistance, as well as Electronics Hardware Assembling, as part of the Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY 4.0). These courses aim to equip students with knowledge and practical skills in these emerging industries.
Furthermore, Jamia Millia Islamia has announced the inclusion of a new Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Work (BSW) degree starting from the academic year 2023-2024. This program will be administered by the JMI Department of Social Work, along with the existing skill-based courses.
