Criteria for Distinction

Who qualifies for Distinction?
A candidate who successfully clears the CA Final exam in a single attempt and achieves at least 70 percent aggregate marks across all subjects is recognized as having passed with distinction. The pass certificate issued will explicitly state that the candidate has achieved this distinction.

Changes in Exam Schedule

The May exam session was particularly noteworthy as the ICAI has returned to its conventional schedule of conducting exams biannually. Starting from 2026, CA exams will be held in May and November, with the January session being discontinued.
