Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) Registration Begins


The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has initiated the online registration process for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the Haryana TET 2026 exam can do so through the official BSEH website at htet.eapplynow.com or bseh.org.in. The registration is open for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 examinations.


Understanding the Levels of HTET

Level 1 is designated for those aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5 (Primary Teacher), Level 2 is for classes 6 to 8 (Trained Graduate Teacher), and Level 3 is applicable for teaching classes 9 to 12 (Post Graduate Teacher).


Deadline for Online Application Submission

The last date to submit online applications is January 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM. This announcement was made by the Board's Chairman, Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar, and Vice Chairman Satish Shahpur during a press conference held on December 24.


Steps to Apply for HTET January 2026

Step 1: Register on the online portal by entering details such as name, father's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID. An application ID will be generated, which must be saved for future reference.
Step 2: Fill in personal information including address, residence details, category, and bank account information.


Step 3: Select the level(s) of HTET for which you are applying.


Step 4: Provide details regarding your educational and professional qualifications as required.


Step 5: Upload necessary documents in the specified format, including a photo, signature, left thumb impression, and disability certificate if applicable.


Step 6: Carefully preview the application and submit it only after verifying all details, as no changes will be allowed post submission.


Step 7: Pay the application fee and download the registration slip for reference.


Application Fees

The application fee is ₹1,000 for Level 1, ₹1,800 for Level 2, and ₹2,400 for Level 3. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Haryana, the fees are ₹500 for Level 1, ₹900 for Level 2, and ₹1,200 for Level 3.


Online Correction Facility

The board has also stated that candidates will be allowed to make online corrections to personal information, photo, signature, thumb impression, level and subject selection (for Levels 2 and 3), category, disability status, and home state on January 4 and 5, 2026.


Important Application Guidelines

It has been clarified that candidates wishing to appear for additional levels must apply under the same registration. Applicants are advised to regularly check the official website for updates and to complete the application process well before the deadline. The board has warned that submitting multiple applications for the same level will lead to disqualification.
