GBSHSE Goa Board HSSC Result 2023 today; When and where to check scores

Today, on May 6, 2023, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will release the results of the Goa Board HSSC examination. The Class 12 results will be announced at 4.30 pm, and candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official GBSHSE website - gbshse.in. Alternatively, results can also be checked on gbshse.info, gbshse.gov.in, and results.gbshsegoa.net. The announcement of the results will be made at a press conference held by the Board at Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Directorate of Education, Porvorim Goa.

To download their result and mark sheet, candidates must be ready with their roll number and date of birth. Along with the results, the Board will also announce the topper list. The HSSC examination was conducted by the Board in two terms. Term 1 was held from November 10 to November 25, 2022, and term 2 from March 15 to March 31, 2023. The Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational examinations were held at 20 examination centres across the state.

The consolidated result sheets will be available for schools to download from May 8, 2023, 9 am onwards. This year, a total of 19,802 candidates appeared for the exam, of which 9,930 were boys and 9,872 were girls. Among the streams, 5,064 candidates appeared for Arts, 6,077 for Commerce, 5,380 for Science, and 3,281 for Vocational.

In 2022, Goa HSSC announced the result on May 21, and the exams were conducted from April 5 to April 23, 2022. The Goa HSSC Class 12 exams were held in 18 centres and 72 sub-centres across the state. A total of 18,201 students took the exams, consisting of 8,925 male candidates and 9,276 female candidates. The overall pass percentage was 92.66%, with the streamwise pass percentage for Arts at 95.68%, Commerce at 95.71%, Science at 93.95%, and the Vocational stream at 79.04%.
