Delhi University (DU) has announced the first allocation list for undergraduate programmes under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024 on August 16. The allocation list is available for all candidates who registered for Phase I of counselling. Candidates can access the list on DU’s official websites, du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in.

Key Dates and Deadlines:

  • Seat Acceptance Deadline: Candidates must accept their assigned seat by 4:59 PM on August 20. Failure to do so will be considered a rejection of the seat, and the candidate will not be eligible for further rounds of the admission process.
  • Verification and Approval: Universities will verify and approve applications from August 16 to August 20.
  • Fee Payment Deadline: The last date for candidates to pay the online admission fee is August 21.
  • Second Round of Admissions: The second round of DU CSAS admissions will start on August 22, with seat allotments announced on August 25.

Steps to Download the DU UG CSAS 2024 Allocation List:

  1. Visit the Official DU Admission Website: Go to admission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Find the Allocation List: Select the link for the initial allocation list under ‘DU UG CSAS 2024’ from the homepage.
  3. View the List: The allocation list will appear on a new webpage.
  4. Download and Save: Download the allocation list and save a copy for future reference.

How to Freeze or Upgrade Your Seat:

  • If Satisfied with the Seat: Candidates who are satisfied with their assigned seat should select the ‘Freeze’ option through the DU CSAS portal.
  • If Seeking an Upgrade: Candidates wishing to be considered for a higher preference seat must select the ‘Upgrade’ option. However, choosing the upgrade option does not guarantee a seat in future rounds.

  1. Visit the Official DU Admission Website: Go to admissions.du.ac.in.
  2. View Merit List: Access the DU CSAS merit list PDF.
  3. Log In to CSAS UG Dashboard: Enter your credentials to log in.
  4. Choose Freeze or Upgrade: Check the available options and make your selection.
  5. Submit Your Choice: Confirm your decision and submit it.
  6. Save a Copy: Keep a saved copy of your selection for further reference.
