Delhi University (DU) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its postgraduate (PG) courses for the academic year 2026-27. Students who have yet to apply can now register through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal until June 9. Additionally, the university has revised the dates for the correction window, allowing registered candidates to modify their application forms from 10:00 AM on June 10 to 5:00 PM on June 11.

Admissions for postgraduate courses at Delhi University will be conducted via the CSAS portal. Only those students who have successfully qualified for the CUET PG exam are eligible to register, as admissions are contingent on CUET PG scores. To enhance the admission process, the university has implemented an auto-integration feature through DigiLocker and API Setu, which facilitates the automatic retrieval of essential details such as the student's name, date of birth, gender, category, parents' names, and CUET PG 2026 marks during registration.


New Master's Courses Introduced

**Launch of New One-Year and Two-Year Master's Courses**
In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Delhi University has launched both one-year and two-year master's degree programs for graduates. Students currently in their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies who have taken the relevant CUET PG 2026 exam can apply for the two-year master's program.


Eligibility for One-Year Postgraduate Course

Students pursuing a four-year undergraduate honours degree with an emphasis on research or entrepreneurship, or those who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree with a major subject, are eligible for the one-year postgraduate course. The university has indicated that applications for the one-year postgraduate course will be submitted through a separate portal, with further details to be announced later.


Application Fee Structure

What is the application fee?
For candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, the application fee is ₹250 per course. In contrast, candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories are required to pay a fee of ₹100 per course.
