The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the results for the Class 10 exam 2023 in a press conference led by the state education minister.

The class 10 students have fared well in the board exams this year. The pass rate for class 10 students has been recorded at 75.05% per cent, which is slightly when compared to last year. In 2022, the Chhattisgarh board’s class 10 pass percentage was 74.23 per cent. The Chhattisgarh board exams for class 10 students were administered from March 2 through March 24. Students must obtain at least 33 per cent in each subject and in the aggregate to pass the board exams. According to the grading scheme, those who obtain 100 to 91 per cent will receive an A1 grade, and those who receive 90 to 81 per cent will receive an A2 grade. Those with 80 to 71 per cent will receive B1, and those who score 70 to 61 per cent will receive a B2 grade. Students who score anywhere below 32 per cent will receive an E1 grade. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the results for the Class 10 exam 2023 in a press conference led by the state education minister. The students have performed exceptionally well in the board exams this year, with a pass rate of 75.05%, slightly higher than the previous year's 74.23%.

The press conference also saw the release of a merit list comprising of 48 students. Rahul Yadav from Jashpur topped the exam with an impressive score of 593 out of 600 marks. Interestingly, four out of the top five students in the Chhattisgarh Board 10th result are from Jashpur.

The CGBSE has also released the list of the top 10 students, with Rahul Yadav securing the top position, followed closely by Sikandar Yadav and Pinky Yadav, both with 98.67% and 98.17% scores, respectively. Students can check their results on the official websites of the Chhattisgarh board, cgbse.nic.in, and result.cg.nic.in.

The board exams for Class 10 students were conducted from March 2 to March 24, and students must score a minimum of 33% in each subject and in the aggregate to pass the exams. The grading system awards an A1 grade for 100-91%, A2 for 90-81%, B1 for 80-71%, B2 for 70-61%, and E1 for scores below 32%.

In 2021, the Chhattisgarh board implemented an all-pass policy, resulting in the absence of a merit list and toppers. However, in 2022, Suman Patel and Sonali Bala topped the Class 10 exams with identical scores of 592 out of 600 marks or 98.67%.
