Ongoing Issues with CBSE Scanned Copies

Students are still encountering significant challenges in obtaining scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Despite the board's assurances that everything is functioning smoothly, it has once again postponed the deadline for applications. Many students, having completed all necessary procedures including payment, are voicing their frustrations over their inability to access these scanned documents, causing distress among both students and their parents.

Details of the Application Process

The application process for acquiring scanned copies commenced on May 19, with students allowed to submit their requests. However, the online portal was non-operational on the first day. It only became functional on May 20 at 2:00 PM. The CBSE then revised the application deadline from May 22 to May 23. Despite this change, students reported issues with payment transactions on May 21.

On May 22, the portal crashed again, prompting the CBSE to extend the deadline to May 24. Even after this extension, numerous students continued to face challenges with their applications. Consequently, on May 24, the deadline was pushed to May 25, marking a total of three extensions by the CBSE.

Students Awaiting Scanned Copies

Many students who completed their applications on May 20 are still waiting for their scanned copies. Users have taken to the social media platform 'X' to express their concerns. One user mentioned that despite finishing the application process on May 20, they have yet to receive their scanned copy. Another user reported applying for five subjects but has only received scanned copies for four.

Lack of Support from CBSE Help Desk

Criticism of the CBSE has intensified, with one user stating, "This is a disgraceful attitude from such a prestigious national institution. I submitted my details and paid the fees on May 21, 2026, yet I have received no updates. I even reached out via email and called the help desk, but there has been no response."
