Overview of Today's Exams


New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the painting examination for Class 10 and several language subjects for Class 12 today as part of the ongoing CBSE Board Exams 2026. According to the board's schedule, the Class 10 painting exam will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the Class 12 language exams are set for 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.


Details of Class 12 Language Exams

The Class 12 language papers scheduled for today include subjects such as Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Sindhi, Marathi, Gujarati, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese, Kannada, Arabic, Tibetan, German, Russian, Persian, Nepali, Limbu, Lepcha, Telugu (Telangana), Bodo, Tangkhul, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, and Mizo.


Advice for Students

CBSE has advised students to arrive at their examination centers well in advance, considering traffic conditions. Entry to the exam centers will close promptly at 10 AM. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of their admit card to the examination centers.


Exams Cancelled in Middle Eastern Countries

Additionally, the board has confirmed that no exams will be held today in Middle Eastern countries. The exams scheduled for March 2, 5, and 6 have been cancelled due to the current situation in the region.


Important Update on Results

In an official circular, CBSE stated, 'The method for declaring results for Class 10 students in the Middle East will be communicated separately in due course.' Students are advised to stay in touch with their respective schools for the latest updates and to closely follow official announcements.


Start Date of the Exams

The CBSE Board Exams 2026 commenced on February 17, with over 4.3 million students participating this year—approximately 2.5 million in Class 10 and around 1.85 million in Class 12. On the first day, Class 10 students took the Mathematics (Basic) and Mathematics (Standard) exams, while Class 12 students sat for Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, Engineering Graphics, and Business Studies exams.
