BSEB 10th Result 2024 Announced: Purnia District's Shivankar Kumar Secures Top Rank with 97.80%
The Bihar Board has announced the matriculation results for the year 2024, with a total of 13,79,542 students out of 16,64,252 who appeared for the exam passing successfully. This marks a pass percentage of 82.91%, which is slightly higher compared to the previous year's pass percentage of 81.04%. Shivankar Kumar from Zila School Purnea has emerged as the state topper with an outstanding score of 489 out of 500, achieving a remarkable 97.80%.
Here are the top three rank holders in the Bihar Board 10th Exam 2024:
- Shivankar Kumar - 489 marks
- Adarsh Kumar - 488 marks
- Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar Purve, Palak Kumari, Sujiya Preween - 486 marks
A total of 51 students have made it to the top 10 ranks. This year's pass percentage marks the highest ever recorded by the Bihar Board, showing a positive trend in academic performance over the years. The pass percentages over the last few years are as follows:
- 2017: 50.12%
- 2018: 68.89%
- 2019: 80.73%
- 2020: 80.59%
- 2021: 78.17%
- 2022: 79.88%
- 2023: 81.04%
- 2024: 82.91%
In the Bihar Board 10th Exam 2024, students need to score a minimum of 150 marks out of 500 to pass the exam. Those scoring 300 marks and above are awarded the 1st division. Students who score below the passing marks will have the opportunity to appear for the Bihar Board Class 10 Compartment Exam.
The results were officially declared today, March 31, in a press conference by Anand Kishore, Chairman of BSEB. Candidates can access their results through the official websites at results.biharboardonline.com and bsebmatric.org, as well as via SMS and DigiLocker. Roll codes and roll numbers from the Bihar matric admit cards 2024 are required to access the results online. Additionally, the names of all the toppers and their respective pass percentages have been shared by BSEB.
