Educational Requirements for Bihar STET Online Form 2026




















Paper / Class Eligibility
Paper 1 (Secondary Class 9-10)



  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject with 50% marks and have passed the B.Ed exam OR


  • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject and have passed the B.Ed exam OR


  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) along with a B.Ed. OR


  • Candidates must have completed a 4-Year BA BEd / BSc BEd course.
Paper 2 (Senior Secondary Class 11-12)



  • Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with 50% marks and have passed the B.Ed exam / BA BEd / BSc BEd OR


  • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) along with a B.Ed. OR


  • Candidates must have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks and a 3-Year B.Ed MEd course.
