Bihar Board Exam 2027 Update



Important Announcement: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced an extension for the submission of online examination forms and payment of fees for the 2027 Class 10 and 12 annual examinations. School administrators now have until September 30, 2026, to complete this process for their students.


The original deadline was September 17, 2026, but the Board has provided additional time for schools to finalize their submissions.


As per the Bihar Board Chairman's statement, heads of affiliated schools can now submit forms for students eligible to take the Intermediate and Matric examinations in 2027 during this extended period.


Dedicated Portals for Each Class
Separate online portals have been established for Class 10 and Class 12 examination form submissions. School heads can access the relevant portal for their respective classes to complete the application process.

Schools must ensure that they fill out the examination forms and pay the required fees through the designated portals by the new deadline of September 30.


No Further Extensions After September 30
The Board had initially set the deadline for September 17, which has now been extended to September 30. Schools are encouraged to complete the form-filling process promptly and not to delay until the last moment.


Offline Exams for Class 10 and 12
The Bihar Board will conduct the annual examinations for Class 10 and 12 in offline mode, adhering to the traditional pen-and-paper format. Examination centers will be established throughout the state, although specific dates for the 2027 Matric and Intermediate exams have yet to be announced.
