On March 23, the Bihar Board announced the results for the 12th grade. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 85.19%. According to official statistics, girls have once again outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 86.23% for girls compared to 84.09% for boys.
BSEB 2026 Toppers List
- In the Science stream, Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur secured the top position in the state with 481 marks (96.20%), while Sakshi Kumari from Sitamarhi and Sapna Kumari from Nawada both achieved second place with 479 marks (95.80%).
- In the Arts stream, Nishu Kumari from Gaya topped with 479 marks (95.80%), followed by Siddhi Shikha from Sitamarhi, Chandradeep Kumar from Lakhisarai, and MD Lucky Ansari from Purnia, who all scored 478 marks.
- In the Commerce stream, Aditi Kumari from Patna achieved the highest score of 480 marks (96.00%), while Mahi Kumari from Patna secured second place with 476 marks, and Nishika Shri came in third with 475 marks.

On the occasion of Merit Day, the Bihar government will honor the top-performing students in a grand ceremony. Those securing second place will be awarded 75,000 rupees, while third-place students will receive 50,000 rupees, along with a laptop and a Kindle.
