The Bihar Board has successfully completed the Intermediate (Class 12) examinations, and students are now eagerly anticipating their results.
Historically, the Bihar Board has been known for being the first in the nation to announce board exam results, and this year is expected to follow that trend. With the 10th and 12th-grade exams wrapped up, the evaluation process is currently in progress, leading to the forthcoming results announcement.
The 12th-grade exams took place from February 2nd to February 13th, while the 10th-grade exams are set to conclude today, February 25th. The examinations were conducted smoothly across various centers in the state, with around 13,17,846 students participating in this year's Intermediate exams. Reports indicate that the evaluation of 12th-grade answer sheets will commence on February 27th.
Evaluation Timeline
As per the Bihar Board's announcement, the evaluation of Intermediate answer sheets will take place at designated centers across all districts, starting from February 27th and continuing until March 10th, 2026. The board is committed to completing the evaluation promptly to facilitate an early results release. Preparations for checking the answer sheets have already been finalized, and a list of teachers from recognized institutions has been prepared. These teachers have received hard copies of their appointment letters based on their respective schools or colleges.
Expected Results Release Date
The board has indicated that the evaluation for all subjects will conclude by March 10th. Following this, the process of result preparation will begin, which includes data verification and merit list compilation. Once the answer sheets are checked, it is anticipated that the results will be finalized within 10 to 15 days. Therefore, the Bihar Board is likely to announce the Class 12 results in the last week of March or the first week of April. However, an official date for the results has yet to be confirmed by the board.
