Bihar Board Releases 2026 Matriculation Exam Results
The Bihar School Examination Board has officially released the results for the 2026 matriculation exams. Education Minister Sunil Kumar made the announcement regarding the results. A total of 1,512,000 students who participated in the exams can check their results on the board's official website biharboardonline.org. To download their mark sheets, students will need to enter their roll number and roll code.
Girls Outperform Boys Once Again
Continuing the trend of recent years, girls have once again outperformed boys in this year's results. According to the statistics, the number of successful male students stands at 601,390, while female students achieved a total of 634,353.
Joint State Toppers Shine
This year, two girls from the state have jointly secured the top position. Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabreen Parveen from Vaishali both achieved an impressive score of 98.4%. The state government will honor the top performers with special recognition.
Opportunity for Scrutiny for Unsatisfied Students
Students who are not satisfied with their scores need not worry. They can apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets between April 1 and April 7. This process allows them to have their scores re-evaluated.
Compartment Option for Failed Students
To ensure that students who did not pass do not lose an academic year, the board has introduced the option for compartment exams. Students can apply for these exams to retake the test and save their academic year.
