The Bar Council of India (BCI) has published the results for the All India Bar Examination 20 and has also released a notification regarding the upcoming AIBE XXI (AIBE 21). As per the announcement, registration for the next examination will commence on February 11, 2026. Eligibility Criteria for AIBE 21


Candidates wishing to take the AIBE 21 must hold a Bachelor of Laws degree (either a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB) from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India. General and OBC candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in their graduation, while SC/ST candidates require at least 40%. There is no age restriction for appearing in this examination.


Success Rate in AIBE 20


The results for the All India Bar Examination 20 were announced on January 7th. Out of 251,968 candidates who took the exam, 174,386 successfully qualified, while 77,579 did not pass. Among the male candidates, 165,613 participated, with 113,063 qualifying and 52,547 failing. For female candidates, 86,336 took the exam, with 61,310 passing and 25,026 not qualifying.
