UPSSSC Announces Senior Instructor Recruitment for 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of Senior Instructors for the year 2026. The online application process commenced on September 14 and will remain open until October 5.

Age and Educational Requirements
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 40 years as of July 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations. Educational qualifications differ by subject, requiring candidates to hold a relevant degree or master's degree in fields such as Agriculture, Engineering, Plant Protection, and others. Additionally, a valid UP PET 2025 scorecard is mandatory.
Salary and Application Fee
Selected candidates for the Senior Instructor role will receive a salary within Pay Level-6, ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. A processing fee of ₹25 is applicable to all candidates.
Selection Process Overview
The selection will not be based solely on the main examination. Instead, candidates will first be shortlisted based on their normalized UP PET 2025 scores. The Commission will select candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies in each category for the main examination, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
Main Examination Details
The main examination will consist of an objective-type paper with 100 questions, totaling 100 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam, with a penalty of one-fourth of the marks for incorrect answers. The paper will include 65 questions on the relevant subject, rural development, and analytical skills, along with 15 questions on Computer and Information Technology and 20 questions on general knowledge related to Uttar Pradesh.
