UPESSC Lecturer Interview 2026: Candidates eagerly anticipating the Lecturer recruitment in Uttar Pradesh have received important updates. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has published the detailed interview schedule for Lecturer positions across 18 different subjects. As per the schedule, interviews will start on June 15 and will run until June 27, 2026, spanning a total of 11 working days. The Commission has recently announced the results of the written examination, and those who passed are now invited for interviews.

**Recruitment for 624 Positions**
This recruitment initiative aims to fill 624 Lecturer vacancies across various subjects. A total of 2,253 candidates who successfully passed the written examination have been shortlisted for the interview phase. The subjects for which appointments will be made include Physics, Biology, Home Science, History, Education, English, Agriculture, Commerce, Sociology, Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Art, and Hindi.

**Over 1.92 Lakh Candidates Participated**
The written examination for the Lecturer recruitment took place on May 9 and 10, 2026, with 192,934 candidates participating. The results were announced on June 2, 2026, in the evening. Following this, the interview phase is set to commence.


Interview Letter Availability

**Interview Letters Accessible from June 5**
Successful candidates will be able to download their interview letters starting June 5, 2026, by logging into the Commission's official website. Additionally, notifications regarding the interviews will be sent via SMS to registered mobile numbers and through email.


Interview Schedule

**Interviews Commence on June 15**
The first day of interviews is scheduled for June 15, focusing on candidates from Commerce, Art, Psychology, Agriculture, and Home Science. On June 16, interviews for Physics and History candidates will take place. Chemistry and Sociology candidates are set for June 17, while Civics and Mathematics interviews will occur on June 18.


**Interviews on June 19 and 20**
Biology candidates will be interviewed on June 19, followed by Sanskrit candidates on June 20.


**No Interviews on June 21**
June 21 is designated as a holiday (Sunday), with no interviews scheduled. After the break, Geography and Education interviews will be held on June 22, followed by Economics on June 23. English candidates will be interviewed on June 24, and both English and Hindi candidates will be interviewed on June 25. The final interviews for remaining Hindi candidates will occur on June 27.
