The official announcement regarding this recruitment has been made public recently. As per the notification, there are 81 available positions for the Scientific Officer role, which includes openings in the fields of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

1. Scientific Officer (Biology) – 25 vacancies


2. Scientific Officer (Physics) – 20 vacancies


3. Scientific Officer (Chemistry) – 36 vacancies

Candidates must pay the required application fee online, which varies by category. The fee is set at ₹500 for General/Unreserved candidates and those from outside Madhya Pradesh, while it is ₹250 for local residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC—Non-Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities.


Selection Process Overview


Candidates will be selected through a written examination, followed by an interview and document verification. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100, along with various benefits and allowances.

For applicants, the minimum age requirement is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 40 years, calculated as of January 1. Relaxations in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per existing regulations.
