New Delhi: The Indian Army has commenced the online application process for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme for its 125th course, specifically aimed at law graduates. The deadline for applications is set for August 17, 2026. This recruitment drive is open to unmarried male and female candidates aspiring to build a career as officers in the legal branch of the Indian Army.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Candidates wishing to apply must possess an LLB degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, applicants are required to participate in the CLAT PG 2026 examination, as initial shortlisting will be based on the scores from this exam.

Regarding age limits, candidates must be between 21 and 27 years old as of January 1, 2027. Only those who meet the specified age and educational qualifications will be eligible to apply.
