The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has opened applications for the role of PGT Computer Science Teacher. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official HPSC website. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,672 PGT positions, with the application deadline set for March 9th.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply must hold an MSc in Computer Science, or a BE/BTech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, achieving at least 50% marks.

Additionally, applicants should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit during their 10th and 12th grades.

It is mandatory for candidates to have cleared either the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or the School Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).

The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 42 years, with relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection Process Overview

The selection will be based on a written examination comprising 100 questions worth 100 marks, with a duration of two hours. A penalty of one-quarter marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Furthermore, a subject knowledge test will include 150 questions, and those who perform well will be invited for an interview.
