Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made an important announcement for candidates of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination. The commission has released the interview dates for this examination. According to BPSC, the interviews for candidates who have successfully cleared the main written exam will commence on January 21, 2026. A total of 5,401 candidates will participate in this process.

The commission clarified that a detailed schedule, including dates and timings for the interviews, will soon be published on the official website. BPSC has advised candidates to regularly check the bpsc.bihar.gov.in website for any updates related to the interviews. The document verification process must be completed by January 17, 2026, and candidates are required to be present with all necessary original certificates on time.


Details of the Main Examination

When Was the Main Exam Conducted?

As per the information provided by the commission, the main written examination for the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination was held from April 25 to April 30, 2025. This examination took place at 32 centers in Patna. A total of 20,034 candidates participated in this main exam, out of which 5,401 candidates were declared successful for the interview stage.

The BPSC main exam was conducted in two shifts on April 25, with the first shift running from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exams on April 26, 28, and 30 were held in a single shift from 10 AM to 1 PM. On April 29, the exam was conducted in two shifts, with the first shift from 10 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 2 PM to 5 PM.
