Number of Vacancies:
The UP Police Department plans to recruit for a total of 22,605 constable positions.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Educational Requirements:
Candidates must have completed their Class 12 education from a recognized institution.
Age Limit:
Applicants should be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 22 years for male candidates and 25 years for female candidates. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per state regulations.
Physical Standards Required
Height Requirements:
For male candidates in the General, OBC, and SC categories, a minimum height of 168 cm is required, along with a chest measurement of 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded. Male candidates from the SC category must have a height of at least 160 cm and a chest measurement of 77 cm unexpanded and 82 cm expanded.
For female candidates, the minimum height is set at 152 cm, while candidates from the ST category must have a height of at least 147 cm.
