The Allahabad High Court has paved the way for the 2025 admission cycle of the Uttar Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education (UP D.El.Ed) program by officially designating graduation as the minimum educational requirement for enrollment. This ruling resolves the long-standing uncertainty regarding eligibility, allowing the state to initiate the admission process for numerous aspiring primary educators.

Key Dates for Application Process

The online registration for UP D.El.Ed admissions is scheduled to start on 24 November 2025. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website. The deadline for application fee submission is 16 December 2025, and candidates can finalize their applications and download the final printout until 18 December 2025.

The state government will release the merit-based state rank list on 23 December, which will be compiled using the academic scores provided during registration.

For the 2025 admission cycle, there are a total of 2,33,350 seats available throughout Uttar Pradesh, distributed as follows:

• 67 District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) centers offering 10,600 seats


• 2,974 private colleges providing 2,22,750 seats
