UPSSSC Announces Recruitment for 560 Pharmacist Positions in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 560 pharmacist positions. Applications will be accepted starting March 9th. The online application window will open on March 9th and will remain available until March 29th, which is the final date for submitting applications. Candidates will have the opportunity to rectify any errors in their application fee until April 5th.
Selection will be based on a written examination, which will include 100 questions to be completed in 2 hours. Each correct answer will earn 1 mark, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of 0.25 marks.
The exam will comprise 65 questions focused on subject knowledge, 15 questions related to Computer/IT, and 20 questions on UP General Knowledge, assessing the candidates' overall knowledge and comprehension.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government guidelines.
Successful candidates will be offered a Level-5 salary, which ranges from ₹5,200 to ₹20,200, along with a grade pay of ₹2,800.
