Registration Now Open for GATE 2026: Apply Before September 28
GATE 2026 Registration Details
The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has officially launched the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications at gate2026.iitg.ac.in until September 28 without incurring a late fee. Applications submitted after this date will be accepted until October 9, 2025, with a late fee.
Previously, the registration was set to begin on August 25, 2025. The GATE 2026 examination is anticipated to take place from February 7 to 15, 2026, with results expected to be announced on March 19, 2025. The GATE score will be valid for three years following the results announcement.
Eligibility for GATE 2026 includes candidates currently enrolled in the third year or higher of any undergraduate program, as well as those who have completed a government-recognized degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.
