Significant Job Announcements in Rajasthan Assembly



During a session in the Rajasthan Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed the Rajasthan Finance and Appropriation Bill 2026. He revealed plans for extensive recruitment across various government departments.


The Chief Minister highlighted that the state intends to fill 1.25 lakh positions in government roles, marking a significant step in enhancing employment opportunities.


Current Recruitment Efforts


Sharma emphasized the government's dedication to achieving a total of 4 lakh recruitments in the state. He noted that 1.43 lakh positions are currently in the recruitment process, with a specific calendar established for 1 lakh of these roles. He further announced an increase in the recruitment calendar to encompass 1.25 lakh posts.


Commitment to Development


The Chief Minister also mentioned that over 34 new policies have been introduced, reinforcing the government's commitment to fulfilling its promises to the citizens. He expressed confidence that Rajasthan is on the path to becoming a robust growth engine, aiming for a developed India by 2047.


Investment Initiatives


In a related development, the sixth meeting of the Investment Board approved tailored incentive packages for 10 ultra-mega projects, which are projected to attract investments totaling Rs 46,000 crore. These initiatives are expected to generate employment for over 12,000 individuals throughout the state.
