The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is set to conduct the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in February and March of 2027. Educational institutions affiliated with the board can access comprehensive details and guidelines regarding the examinations through their designated login IDs.

Important Deadlines for Exam Form Submission

The PSEB has announced crucial deadlines for regular students to submit their examination forms and fees. The last date for submitting online forms without incurring a late fee is October 23, 2026. After this date, students can still apply but will face additional charges. The late fee structure is as follows:

Submission Period Late Fee
October 24 - October 31 ₹500
November 1 - November 10 ₹1,000
November 11 - November 18 ₹1,500
November 19 - November 26 ₹2,000

Schools must adhere to these deadlines for generating challans and depositing fees in the bank.

Exam Fees for Classes 10 and 12

The examination fees have been set at ₹2,000 for Class 10 students and ₹2,450 for Class 12 students. Students wishing to take an additional subject will incur an extra charge of ₹550 per subject. This fee encompasses both hard copy and digital versions of the examination materials.

Responsibilities of Schools

The PSEB has assigned the responsibility of managing the examination form and fee submission process to the respective schools. School administrators are required to ensure that eligible students' forms are accurately filled out and submitted on time. Any delays or failures in this process will result in accountability for the school heads, who may face disciplinary action if the board's guidelines are not followed.

Consequences for Government Schools

A specific protocol has been established for government schools. Should a government institution fail to meet the examination-related deadlines, the issue will be escalated to the Director of the relevant Primary or Secondary Education Department. Consequently, appropriate actions may be taken against the principal or head teacher as per the established regulations.
