Candidates preparing for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) should note a significant update. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha has changed the date for the OTET 2026. Initially set for June 28, the exam was postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) Combined Recruitment Examination. In response to concerns raised by candidates, the new date for the OTET is now July 5, allowing students to participate in both assessments.

OTET Exam to be Conducted in Two Sessions


The Board has issued a revised timetable to accommodate candidates' needs. The OTET will be administered in two sessions: Paper I from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Paper II from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
