NEET PG 2025 Counseling: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has initiated the registration for the stray vacancy round aimed at filling the remaining All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official MCC website.
Counseling Timeline Until February 28
The MCC has announced that the final counseling phase will take place from February 16 to February 28. Registration will be available from February 16 to 18, allowing candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses from February 16 to 19. The choice locking process will occur on February 19, from 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM.
Seat Allocation Results Scheduled for February 21
The seat allocation process is set to conclude on February 20, with the final results being announced on February 21. Candidates who secure a seat must report to their designated institute between February 22 and 28 to finalize their admission.
In Round 3, a total of 10,084 new seats were allocated, and 8,589 candidates received upgrades. The MCC has published a comprehensive 1,959-page list detailing candidates admitted through Round 3.

Category Change for NRI Candidates
NRI candidates had until today to modify their category. The MCC allowed candidates until 4 PM today to switch their status from Indian to NRI for the stray vacancy round. Required documents needed to be submitted by 4 PM on February 16 to the email address provided. In the first three rounds, 1,666 candidates changed their category from Indian to NRI.
