MP State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 Notification Released
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially announced the MP State Eligibility Test (SET) for the year 2025. Registration will commence on October 25 and will remain open until November 20. Interested candidates must submit their applications via the official MPPSC website.
The MP SET 2025 is aimed at selecting candidates for the role of Assistant Professor within the Higher Education Department. The examination will be available in both Hindi and English, allowing candidates to choose their preferred language during the registration process. The test will cover a total of 31 subjects.
Eligibility Criteria for MP SET 2025
What qualifications are needed for MP SET 2025?
Applicants for the SET must possess a postgraduate degree (such as MA, M.Sc, M.Com, etc.) from an accredited university. Final-year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to General, OBC (Creamy Layer), and EWS categories must achieve a minimum of 55% in their postgraduate studies. For SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and PwD candidates from Madhya Pradesh, the minimum requirement is 50%. Additionally, Ph.D. holders who completed their postgraduate studies before September 19, 1991, will receive a 5% relaxation in the required marks.

There are no age restrictions for candidates wishing to take the MP SET exam. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission allows individuals of any age who meet the educational qualifications to apply.

What is the application fee?
As per the notification, the application fee for candidates in the General category is ₹500, which includes a portal fee of ₹40. Fees for candidates in Reserved categories may differ. Payments can be made online using net banking, debit cards, or credit cards.

When will the MP SET 2025 exam take place?
