SSC CPO Vacancy Update



The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a rise in the number of Sub-Inspector positions available within the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Following the completion of the CPO 2024 examination, the latest notification reveals that the Delhi Police has 186 SI vacancies. In contrast, the CAPF has seen an increase in its vacancies from 4,001 to 5,122, adding 1,121 positions across the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB.


On October 20th, the SSC published the final results for the CPO recruitment for Delhi Police and CAPF SI positions. A total of 5,296 candidates have been selected, comprising 455 women and 4,841 men. Initially, 22,246 candidates were shortlisted for the subsequent medical examination and document verification based on their performance in Paper 2.


Women's Results


For the Delhi Police, there are 61 vacancies designated for women, with recommendations made for all positions. Additionally, the CAPFs have 394 vacancies for women, with recommendations also provided for these roles.


Men's Results


In the Delhi Police, 113 candidates have been recommended for 125 Sub-Inspector roles. Meanwhile, in the CAPFs, 413 candidates have been recommended for 513 available positions.
