Correction Window for CAT 2026 Applications



The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has initiated the correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 application process as of October 5. Candidates who need to amend details in their applications can access the official site, iimcat.ac.in, to implement the necessary changes.


**Correction Window Details**


The application submission for CAT 2026 has been completed. However, candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fee can correct certain details in their applications. The correction window will be available from 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026, until 5:00 PM on October 6, 2026.


**Modifiable Details**


During this period, candidates can only modify specific information in their submitted applications. Changes to other details will not be permitted. Candidates can update their photographs, signatures, and preferences for the test location. It is crucial for candidates to thoroughly review their applications and make necessary adjustments within the given timeframe, as no further opportunities for corrections will be available post-deadline.


**Exam Schedule**


The CAT 2026 examination is scheduled for November 29, 2026, and will be conducted in three shifts: the first from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the third from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The exam will consist of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Candidates will earn three points for each correct answer, while one point will be deducted for incorrect responses.


The admit card for CAT 2026 will be available on November 4, and results are anticipated to be released in the first week of January 2027. Admission to MBA and PGDM programs at IIMs and other management institutions will be based on CAT scores.
